The First Dagsa cabinet took office in the Democratic Christian Federation of Melite on 6 June 2022 with the communiqué released by Premier Jayden Dagsa assigning three ministers their respective ministries. This arrangement is similar to the Australian 1st Whitlam ministry, commonly known in Australia as the 'duumvirate', though with difference to this particular ministry, the Cabinet is made of 3, not 2 ministers, making it a triumvirate a mention of such is made in Dagsa's speech to the Second session of the Second Congress of the Christian Nationalist Party on 23 June 2022. It is the first proper Cabinet of Melite, and the only one to be made up only of non-Maltese Melitians, and CNP members, though it is good to note that Simeon Nikolov changed registration from Directionist to Christian Nationalist.[1]
