The Democratic Christian Federation of Melite has one of the most modest presences in the micronational world, with it limiting most of its foreign policy towards Europe, the US, Asia and Australia. The current Foreign Minister of Melite is Jayden Dagsa, though the President of Melite has also strong involvement with Foreign Policy.

History

Communist Period

The Grand Republic of Fellisia, the first micronation Melite recognized, until it went defunct.

In the first era of the republic, then the Democratic Communist Republic of 11B, no foreign relations whatsoever with any micronations or macronations were established or maintained, due to its initially de-facto isolationist policy and its lack of an online presence. After the end of secondary school, with many citizens leaving the nation, leaving then-General Secretary of the republic Matthew T. as the only citizen of the nation. After the relocation of the capital city from Leoni District and the elevation of the Dominica City to the grade of an autonomous city, de facto making the micronation a one party dictatorship and an egostan, Melitian diplomacy was started through the Social Media handle Twitter with the new micronation of Fellisia, a micronation in South Korea, though the it would go defunct in around two weeks. Chrisland was the second nation to recognise Melite. It was through foreign diplomats that the name "11B" of the time was criticised and would lead to the President holding the referendum on the D.C.R. name change, after permission and further criticism from the Supreme Court.
