Easwegianism, also known as Common Unionism or the Seven Masts, is the founding philosophy of Easway. It aims to promote national cohesion, stable governance and economy, as well as community integration through a combination of communitarianism, secular federalism and co-operative socialism, a democratic governance style named the Directorial Federation. Through a balance of a transparent and limited multi-party federal government, and strong federated regional governance and identity, Common Unionism aims to solidify a mutual relationship between the polyethnic and broad church needs of the sovereign nation, and the decentralised needs of communities and the economy.

Easwegianism was developed by founders Emizerri, Aleksou Desourrë, Csyeigo, Gaia Grìbhinneach and Demitrou Chostacovitch and aims to meet the needs of different sectors of society. It supports the state support of healthcare and the sciences and international co-operation in this regard. Originally going by the motto of 'SoProCo' from 2017 onwards; meaning sovereignty, prosperity and co-operation; the Grand Councillor Emizerri developed the Seven Masts as the core philosophies of Easway, including: sovereigntism, localism, co-operatism, directorialism, federalism, secularism and humanitarianism. The United Common Assembly, Easway's federal legislature; which elects the Co-operative Government and aims to meet the needs of the Easwegian nation; including the core Easwegian ethnic groups of the Ezaari, Norwegians and Pomors; and the population in 2021 added the Seven Masts into the Constitution.

The national day for Easwegianism is celebrated on 20 October annually, to celebrate the creation of the Cyber Council Easwegian Alliance's creation in 2015, which would later lead Easway to independence on 19 December 2017.

Philosophy

Easwegianism is a progressive socialist philosophy and focuses on the sovereignty of the Easwegian people within a polyethnic secular Common Union. Easwegianism is built to guide the Co-operative Government throughout the transition of independence from the Kingdom of Norway. Emizerri as the paramount founder of Easway is credited with the core development of the philosophy, leaning on the nationalist policies of Desourrë, the secular policies of Csyeigo, the socialist policies of Grìbhinneach and polycultural and legislative policies of Chostacovitch.

Seven Masts

Easwegianism follows the The Seven Masts philosophy; created by the Emizerri and voted by the public to join the Constitution of Easway at the end of 2021; and is a philosophy designed to work within and help maintain a functioning democracy.

The Seven philosophies of the Seven Masts are; Sovereigntism, Localism, Co-operatism, Directorialism, Federalism, Secularism and Humanitarianism.

The Seven Masts as part of the Easwegianism are designed to be the basis of a functioning society that are seen to be important to the welfare of a society and the liberty of the individual in a wide range of ideologies and situations, whilst being carefully picked to not impede on the choice of each political parties direction.

The themes of each sub-philosophy within the Seven Masts are:

  • Sovereigntism - Independent democracy
  • Localism - Social community wellfare and the economy
  • Co-operatism - Internal rights of workers
  • Directorialism - Executive multi-partisan collegial based decision making
  • Federalism - Internal constitutional governance
  • Secularism - Seperation of Church and State
  • Humanitarianism - Ethics

Gender rights in Easwegianism

The history of gender rights, feminism and marriage equality began as an initiative at the beginning of the Easwegian national movement in 2015. Its founders, inspired by the propaganda of the Soviet Union wished for both men and women to be working together side by side in all avenues possible, including in the workforce and within a future national guard. The original Easwegian revolutionaries understood that social integration and co-operation was an integral step towards creating a successful Easwegian identity and movement, and the involvement of both men and women equally would foster a focused and liberated people.

Founding Easwegian Railiyde, of Nepali origin, served within the Provisional Government, and based her feminism on the Quit India movement and the Bengal Renaissance. Through her position in the Provisional Government executive, she helped equalise the tech sector by bringing in more women to a traditionally male-dominated sector. Swapardeshi, the first female member of the National Directorate and President of the United Common Assembly, also has been critical in feminism within Easway. Prefect of Maritime Hopen's New Barentsburg Sannu Raizerni, created the Federation of Easwegian Women to further promote women's involvement in politics and the workforce. In Grand Councillor Emizerri's last term, he employed Raizerni as Grand Lady in order to develop a leading female figure in Easway to serve as inspiration for others. All major women within Easwegian politics have been Hindu, which has influenced gender equality politics in Easway towards the Indian subcontinent.

Swapardeshism-Easwegianism

Swapardeshi, the 5th President of the United Common Assembly, has been the leading female figure in Easway since her entrance into Easwegian public life in 2021. A core focus of herself has been to inspire women to enter the scientific and political fields, as well as for the nation to promote the value of the scientific method in general. Swapardeshi was instrumental in implementing a Day of National Introspection in Easway, celebrated every 2 January, whereby leaders, politicians and diplomats have candour in reflecting on their own actions and how these actions will affect themselves, their country and the world. Swapardeshi is a leading member of the Federation of Easwegian Women, a non-governmental organisation which promotes non-discrimination and women's participation in the workforce and politics. Swapardeshi also believes in fraternity between the sexes, and has worked closely with former Grand Councillor and current Grand Marshal Emizerri to create initiatives that include all Easwegians, including the youth, with the end in mind of having a progressive and civically minded national identity.
