The Cyber Council Easwegian Alliance (CCEA); Ez: Rauddoghaibe vi Liydoqezerri (RGLQEZ); Nr: Det Kyberråd Jarnske Allianse (KRJA); commonly shortened to Cyber Council, CCEA or the Alliance, especially in correspondence, was a semi-underground political organisation on Bear Island Svalbard, which existed between 20 October 2015 and 5 November 2017 to conduct the operations of the Easwegian national movement. Consisting largely of Easwegian nationalists living in other countries, it transformed into the Easwegian Revolutionary Council which launched the November-December 2017 Easwegian Revolution, achieving Easwegian independence on 19 December 2017 as the Mainland of Easway on Bear Island.

Notable for its use of the internet to attract members and due to its decisions made through consensus, it is today considered Easway's first legislative body.

Background

Easwegian national identity has long consisted of Barents region cultural ties between the speakers of Ezerryen, Norwegian and Russian; of Pontic-Caspian & Khazar, Norse, and Pomors heritage. In mythological records, Easway began as a colony of the Novgorod Republic in the very late 12th century, around 1196-1200, known as the Iron Commonwealth. With Novgorod's destruction and annexation into the Muscovite state as part of an emerging Tsardom in 1478, the colony became independent as the Easwegian Commonwealth. Its territory consisted of southern Svalbard Islands and off of modern day eastern Mainland Norway, and Northern Russia. The Commonwealth ceased to exist in 1821 on the order of the United Kingdom of Sweden and Norway, leading to the mandated exodus of the Easwegian people, most fleeing to the neutral Great Britain & Ireland. This exodus was unauthorised by the Norwegian government and led to the impeachment of the Norwegian admiral and state minister responsible, Thomas Fasting. In 1925 through a treaty, Svalbard came under the sovereignty of Norway. This allowed Easwegians to return to Svalbard, although many chose not to, due to the following persecution of the Pomors by the Soviet regime under Stalin. Instead, many fought against the dictatorships, including some acting as volunteers against the USSR's invasion of Finland in 1938. After returning home to Britain and Ireland, Easwegians supported the Allies in WW2 against the Axis powers.

In 1988, Norway built a controversial spy radar on the eastern Norway island of Vardø, a historical Pomors capital. In 2002 after the Norwegian government had poisoned waters on Bear Island with PCB, Bear Island was declared a nature reserve, which Easwegians found entirely unjust.

After alleged political strong arming by the Norwegian Barents Secretariat, the writers left its news organisation to form the Independent Barents Observer in October 2015. In response to this and dissatisfaction with the government of Norway's militarisation of the sub-arctic, Emizerri (future 1st head of Easway), Dr. Mooshroom and Oelaanni Creizoun formed the Cyber Council Easwegian Alliance. In 2016 and 2017, its leadership was accompanied by Aleksou Desourre, Railiyde, Geno, and Wreno.

Activity and Transformation

The Cyber Council criticises the former Conservative foreign minister and soon to be President of the World Economic Forum

The Cyber Council's main goal was to discuss avenues for Easwegian Independence and the promotion and restoration of Easwegian culture. Due to the widespread nature of the Easwegian people after the 1821 Easwegian exodus, only one people who suffered from the victors of expansionist and nationalist policies in Europe during that period, the internet served as a vital tool to bring people together from different backgrounds. Leading the cause was Emizerri, who was elevated to the title of Subdirector, which indicated that as the head he directed the cause but was subordinate to the decisions of the Council as a whole.

In mid 2016, Aleksou Desourre, future first head of government, joined the Council's leadership. Through his guidance, he convinced the Council that an independence movement should come sooner than later; that the members could avoid becoming émigrés and that the Council should emphasise the historical culture of Easwegians further. Through this, he said it was important to make the Ouroboros the national unifying symbol of the Easwegians as a whole. Used during the Commonwealth days, he said its widespread use could bridge Ezaari, Norwegians and Pomors into one civic nation. In November 2016, he convinced the Council to elevate Emizerri to the title of Major Director.

In September 2017, Railiyde, Geno and Wreno became directors in the Council. From this point on, the Cyber Council fully left the underground scene. The Council leadership consisted at this point of Major Director Emizerri and Directors Aleksou Desourre, Oelaanni Creizoun, Dr. Mooshroom, Railiyde, Geno and Wreno. These seven members appealed to the Norwegian government, at that point led by the conservative party, notorious for corruption and going against the local will of Norway's minorities, even within the mainland proper. This was to no avail. In October 2017, the Council heavily criticised the actions of former foreign minister Brende in his decisions to push off diplomatic avenues with the Russian Federation in relation to the militirisation of the subarctic through the expansion of the GLOBUS spynetwork on Vardø island, a historical Pomors capital. He then left to become the President of the World Economic Forum, an organisation which Easway claims pushes anti-democratic corporate activity throughout the globe. It was at this point, Easwegians decided enough was enough.

On 5 November 2017, the CCEA voted to disband the Council and replace it with the Convention of the Ouroboros' Serpents of Easway Alliance. This sat in session between all members for just over two weeks.

On 24 November the following actions took place by the Convention: the Ouroboros' Serpents of Easway would establish a revolutionary council, the Independent Serpent Forces would be created, Emizerri would be elevated to Grand Marshal, Desourre Commissar-in-chief, Dr. Mooshroom, Oelaanni Creizoun, Railiyde, Geno and Wreno Commissars. These actions began the Easwegian Revolution. The revolutionary council established Popular Committees on Bear Island to coordinate the activities of its populace, and the island was split into two militia districts in its west and east. On 14 December 2017, the Independent Serpent Forces orchestrated the March on Boriopa, seizing Herwighamna. On the 19 December 2017, independence was declared and Emizerri was elected as head of state of the Mainland of Easway on Bear Island, beginning the Provisional Government Era.
