The Easwegian Common Assembly, officially United Common Assembly is the parliamentary federal legislative branch of the Common Union of Easway. It is responsible for the election of the executive government, the reading, debate and passing of federal bills and the appointment of certain office-holders. It is federated into two commonwealth councils, Bear Island and the Pomors Frontier, who are themselves divided into municipal councils. These commonwealth councils have the authority to autonomously propose and approve of non-ministry level legislation forwarded by the National Directorate, Easway's executive government.

The United Common Assembly is led by a speaker known as the president and administered day-to-day by the Imperative Council. Its official residence is the Long Palace in Easway's de facto capital, Boriopa Centrum. It is elected twice annually every six months in May and November.

History

The history of the United Common Assembly begins with the formation of the pre-independence Cyber Council Easwegian Alliance on 20 October 2015. Created by Emizerri and initially containing a small number of underground Easwegian nationalists, it grew larger over the next two years. On 5 November 2017 the CCEA organised a Mainland People's Committee and it was replaced with the Ouroboros' Serpents of Easway alliance, which would later become the 1st provisional government on 19 December 2017 when Easway declared independence. The Cyber Council Easwegian Alliance and the Mainland People's Committee are referred to as the 1st and 2nd pre-independence assemblies. After proclamation of independence, the assemblies were renumbered, beginning with the 1st Mainland Council.
