Dhirenpara is a constituency represented in the Lok Sabha, the unicameral legislature of Vishwamitra and is one of the two Lok Sabha constituencies in the state of Madhya Prant with the other being Noonmati constituency. This constituency was established in October 2019 during the by-election to the house of Parliament.
History
The Dhirenpara constituency came into existence in 2019 during the bye-election to the Lok Sabha. Nishwan Baidantic, a former Senior Minister represented the constituency as a National People's Congress candidate for two terms.
In the election to the 13th Lok Sabha, independent candidate David Hawthorne was elected to office and represented the house until his resignation in August the same year. In the November 2021 general election, Su Yi-An of the Green Socialist Party was elected to office defeating NPC candidate Abayat Ibtiyaz and a month later, he became an independent MP and served for the remainder of his term.
In the 2022 general election, NPC candidate Johannes Mattias Toome defeated opposition VNP candidate Juan Cisneros and was elected to office and has since been representing the constituency.
