BepisRail, often stylyzed BEPISRAIL, is Bepistan's national rail company, established on 28 January 2019. It is operated by the nation's ministry of transportation, often with direct orders from the chancellor.

History

Foundation

Bepisrail was established on 28 January 2019, but lay dormant until Matthew Laptev and his best friend Jay Clover set out to claim the rarely-used Bay Ridge Branch of the LIRR. While neglected, the railroad is not actually fully abandoned. Trains trains run randomly, and only to deliver freight to the warehouses, plants, and nearby factories that still rely on the railroad for supplies.

Cloverzem

On 23 January BepisRail had gained permission to expand operations into Cloverzem, taking over all existing infrastructure operated by Clovertransit. After the dissolution of Cloverzem, all assets originally belonging to Clovertransit were placed under official ownership by BepisRail.

Assets and Operations

Engines

BepisRail currently has a fleet of two LEGO engines, train 60052, a blue diesel, and train 7939, a yellow European-style diesel-electric engine with a pantograph.

Rolling Stock

BepisRail also owns several types of freight cars, including:

• 1 Short Pallet-System flatbed with space for two pallets designed to hold spools of electric cable.
• 1 Long Pallet-System flatbed that can hold 3 pallets of cargo. This car is currently loaded with 1 oil cistern pallet, 1 wheelbarrow pallet, and a Forklift.
• 1 Animal pen car, equipped with water and food holders, and hay. This car currently holds a brown cow.
• 1 Short flatbed designed to hold small automobiles.
• 1 Octan oil cistern.
• 1 Long Custom container flatbed that can either hold two small containers or 1 long container.

Loading stations

• Loading platform with moving crane, Pallet shelves, and small office.

Virtual Assets

All of BepisRail’s virtual assets are in the popular voxel videogame Minecraft. These only make use of the BepisRail name, and are not considered to be actual sources of income.

Bepistown Rapid Transit

BRT (not to be confused with the Brooklyn Rapid Transit Company) is managed by BepisRail and is the sole operator of all commuter railroads and subway lines on the Bepistan Minecraft server. As of 2021, there are 7 stations in operation, connected by 5 lines.

DefinedRails

Defined Rails is a well known modded Minecraft focusing on technology and railroading mods. BepisRail is valued at over 500,000 in-game dollars, and earns profits through industrial ore processing and oil product refinement. BepisRail was responsible for the construction of the Cross-Southwest-Island Railroad, spanning over 2 kilometers.

BepisRail Heavy Industries

BepisRail’s Heavy Industry division focuses on the design and development of various rolling stock for other micronational transit companies. It is most known for the design of the Duke Funicular. A second contract for Duke was agreed upon but never completed because of Duke’s dissolution.
