Unofficial successor states

Unofficial successor states, also known as unrecognized or fake successor states are a group of micronations or a single micronation who claim to be the successor of a disbanded or collapsed micronation, despite having no real connections or history with the defunct micronation. Not all unrecognized successor states are claiming to be a successor of a micronation, but sometimes rather a former macronational entity or current macronational entity.

An official successor state can be marked as a unofficial successor state by other micronational entities, but a unofficial successor state is not decided by the government or people of the micronation being seceded, but rather just being made in a different location, or is just competely different than "predecessor" micronation.

An unofficial successor state isn't always claiming to be a successor of a defunct or inactive nation, and can be claiming to be the successor of a active existing micronation. Unrecognized successor states are usally hated by the leader of the micronation who is being claimed as the unrecognized successor states predecessor, or hated.
