The Cliff Strip, a USBI territory

The United Sea Bass Islands, or Sea Bass for short, is a sovereign micronation formed and founded on 30 June 2019. It has a democratic form of government, and currently has diplomatic ties with several other micronations. With initial claims to several rocks sticking out of the water in Lake Sebago in Harriman State Park, NY, USA, the United Sea Bass Islands have later claimed other such island places in the Lehigh River near Jim Thorpe, PA, USA and in the stream connecting Martling Lake and Brooks Lake in Staten Island, NY, USA. Etymology

The two people who discovered the original site for the foundation of the United Sea Bass Islands called it Sea Bass - Sea Base - Base at Sea - even though it was in a lake, not a sea.

History

On 30 June 2019, 7 people decided to form a country: the United Sea Bass Islands. With extradition treaties with some other micronations, this micronation is still in development.

Politics and government

With a democratic form of government, the United Sea Bass Islands have a very similar system as the system of the United States of America

Law and order

The United Sea Bass Islands have a Police Department to enforce "USBI Laws and Rights."

Military

The United Sea Bass Islands did not experience the awful state known as war and has a system for organizing an emergency army in time of need.

Geography and climate

Located in temperate NY, USA, the United Sea Bass Islands have a very pleasant climate. Although the territories amount to less than 5 square miles, they are very rich, vibrant, and luxurious.

The United Sea Bass Islands have an extradition treaty with the Big Rock Kingdom.

The United Sea Bass Islands use the Treaty of Mutual Recognition with the USBI Template for all treaties of mutual recognition.

The United Sea Bass Islands are currently a member state of the Global Diplomacy Alliance, and have been since 05/28/2021.

The United Sea Bass Islands are currently a member state of the Micro4 Alliance, and have been since 06/17/2021.
