The Secretary of State for Tourism, sometimes known as the Tourism Secretary, is a secretary of state and minister of the crown in the Government of Athor with overall responsibility for the Ministry of Tourism. They are a member of the council of ministers.
Role
The Tourism Secretary, in accordance with the Ministry of Tourism, is charged with overseeing the development and encouragement of tourism within the Islamic Emirate of Athor. The secretary also works alongside the Secretary of State for Culture to help preserve national culture.
Appointment
The tourism secretary is nominated for office by the Prime Minister and can be nominated from either house of parliament. The Monarch then can formally appoint an MP to office.
