Cayfield is the capital city of the Islamic Emirate of Athor. It is also the largest and oldest city within the emirate.
History
The city of Cayfield is the oldest city in the Emirate. It was established on 22 December 2022 and was designated as the nation's capital city.
Administration
Local Government
The administration of the city is overseen by the Cayfield City Council. The council is chaired by the Mayor of Cayfield, who is elected by the city electorate and the council is appointed by the mayor.
National Government
Cayfield is the seat for the Government of Athor, many government departments, the office of Prime Minister and the monarchy. As well as this the monarch's residence is located in the city.
