The Royal Kingdom, officially the Royal Kingdom of Kal’zar, is a micronation formally founded on 1 January 2019, as a result of the King, Ethan I, dissolving the former Kingdom, the Kingdom of the Mountains, Forrest, & Rock. Traditionally, the King and citizens celebrate the Founding of the Kingdom of the Mountains, Forrest, & Rocks.

Etymology

The Royal Kingdom got its name from a book that the King is writing. In that book, there was a nation of great renown. It was known as the Royal Empire, ruled by kings for nearly 650 years. It eventually fell to a civil war between two brothers and their uncle for the claim of the Throne. The founder of the Royal Empire is heavily based on the King himself.

Government and politics

The Royal Kingdom is an Absolute Monarchy, meaning that the King has the absolute highest authority within the Kingdom. However, the Kingdom has the Royal Council, which gives the King advice on internal affairs, external affairs, laws, and coin. There are three vacant positions, but the King seeks to fill those spots.

Law and order

All laws are written and signed by His Majesty, the King. They are written physically and put into the Royal Archive for future use.

Foreign relations

The Royal Kingdom, throughout its existence, has maintained a steady relationship with the Republic of Molossia. President Kevin Baugh has maintained good relationships with Ethan I via email correspondence.

Religion

Although the official religion of the Crown of the Royal Kingdom is Cotholosism, the Right of Religion applies for all members and nonmembers of the State. As such, no law has been proposed by the Council or the King to enforce a strict religious following.
