Koutria, is a Province of the Empire of Imvrassia.
History
The history of Koutria has so far been based as a part (Town) of the Empire of Austenasia, because the (former) Town of Ionisia was founded as an exercise of national friendship between Austenasia and Imvrassia. After the region's departure from Austenasia, Ionisia begame an independent monarchy, as an Archontia, but without strong political activity.
Kingdom of Ionisia
One year after its independence (ie at 2019), at the political life of Ionisia began the creation of a program with Hellenistic orientation. On 25 July 2019 Ionisia proclaimed to the status of a Kingdom after a decision of the then its sovereign Archon Aggelos. After the upgrade of Ionisia, Aggelos assumed the title of Epitropos, instead of the title of Basileus (King). From 1 August 2019 the Queen of Imvrassia, Aikaterini I was crowned as the Queen of Ionisia and thus a personal union was formed with Imvrassia. On 7 September 2019 Queen Aikaterini because of her non - micronational obligations, appointed Archon Aggelos as Epitropos and was temporarily left the political life.
Union with Imvrassia
On 26 September 2019 Epitropos Aggelos has suspended the operation of the Constitution and on the same day annexed Ionisia into the Kingdom of Imvrassia as a Province in his capacity as Regent of Imvrassia. After the administrative reorganization of 1 January 2020 the Province has administratively subordinate to the Praetorian Prefecture of Elladia. On 21 August 2021 a new Theme was added and the area of the Province grew. On 25 April 2022 by imperial degree the Province changed its name to Koutria and was limited to its original extent.as a connecting piece with the lands of the kingdom.
On 01 July 2024 the nominal Kingdom of Pamphylia and later on 16 August 2024 the Praetorian Prefecture of Pamphylia was created in order to include in an administrative unit all the territories of the Empire that had been joined during the previous years and so the Province join to this new administrative unit.
