Protocol 1 of the United Micronations Treaty Alliance also known as the Mutual Recognition and Collective Defensive Agreement Protocol is also the founding resolution of the United Micronations Treaty Alliance.
The protocol sets out a guarantee of mutual recognition, essentially meaning that all member states agree to recognize each others sovereignty claims. The other major guarantee is that all nations will collectively defend the member states of the UMTA.
On 11 August 2023, the Arstotzkan Union became the first nation to ratify Protocol 1 into their national law.
