Geography

Politics
Political Philosophy
Urania claims to be an LGBT homeland, akin to the Gay and Lesbian Kingdom of the Coral Sea Islands which was dissolved in 2017 by Emperor Dale I. Consequently, entitling anyone who identifies as LGBT+ to citizenship. Whilst Urania does not explicitly ban heterosexual/cisgendered individuals, and they may (like LGBT+ people) visit with no necessity of a visa or application, applications for citizenship by "Cis/het" people were reviewed by the Government rather than being given an instant greenlight. This shapes a pro-LGBT political mindset, and the aim of furthering LGBT causes within and beyond Urania.
Government
Urania has a bicameral system, with the Lower Chamber directly elected biannually from and by citizens, and the Upper Chamber being staffed by Nobles, who may be appointed by the Monarch. Whilst the Upper Chamber is limitless in size, the Lower Chamber is capped at 20 seats, elected on a proportional representative system. Of the 20 seats, one Member of Parliament is elected Chamberal Speaker, and the leader of the largest party becomes Prime Minister. The leader of the second largest party is named Leader of the Opposition.
The National Parliament was the only administrative body within the Principality. There were no Members of Parliament owed to the size of the Principality, and thus no Prime Minister.

Culture
LGBT Culture
Urania largely adopts modern LGBT culture, language, slang, and customs.
The economy is supported by the Thebe, (symbol: ᐁ), which takes it name from The Sacred Band of Thebes, an elite ancient unit of same-sex lovers, who were killed at the Battle of Chaeronea. The monetary symbol is a triangle, an homage to the pink triangle, a symbol used to identify homosexuals during the Holocaust.
