Åxenö is federal presidential republic. Åxenö is made up of 5 districts. All 5 districts have their own government. The district government elects every 3 years which governer they will have. The governer of the districts have to listen to the president of Åxenö and the prime minister of Åxenö. The governers have some power over their districts. The governers only have power over for example speed limits and permits for housing and such. There is also the Supremem Court who controlls laws for districts but not the entire country. The judge of the Supremem Court can also overturn any distruct specific laws from the president. The parliment makes important decisions for example the parliment can veto any decleration of war, decleration of an alliance or trade deals from the president so long half of the parliment votes so.
The president used to serve a 3 year term but with the 2023 presidential act, presidents can only serve for a 1 year term. The president can run for president how many times they want. The president is elected directly by the population of Åxenö rather than the parliment or court. The court does not have elections rather the prime minister takes the seat when they are elected as prime minister. The parliment is elected by political parties in parliment who choose who should be their representative.
Federal Government

Election where held every 3 years but with the 2023 Presidential act the president is only allowed to stay in office for 1 year but is allowed to be re-elected as many times as they want. Also every year there is a parlimentary election between the parties in Åxenö. Every one is allowed to vote in Åxenö except LGBT people because they are banned form entering Åxenö.
Political parties
Most parties are in parliment. A registered party can nominate candidates for presidential, parlimentary and local elections. In Åxenö to form a party all you need is the permission of the incumbent president. If the incumbent president declines you can not legally for a political party in Åxenö. You are able to apply again to become a political party.
