The Most Excellent and Imperial Order of the Yellow Dragons of Myrotania (often shortened to "Order of the Yellow Dragons"), founded in 2014,[1] is the highest order of chivalry and the most prestigious honour in the Empire of Myrotania. It is the official order of peerage for the Empire of Myrotania. It is awarded at the Emperor's pleasure, as his personal gift, on recipients of the Empire or members of states, which have diplomatic relations with Myrotania.
Name
The official full title of the Order is Latin and reads: Excellentissimus atque Imperialissimus Ordo Draconum Flavorum Myrotaniæ which translates to The Most Excellent and Imperial Order of the Yellow Dragons of Myrotania, which is often shortened to The Order of the Yellow Dragons (Ordo Draconum Flavorum).
In colloquial conversation where the subject of the Order of the Yellow Dragons has already been established, it is not uncommon to hear it referenced as 'The Imperial Order' or even more simply: 'The Order'
