Mediterranean Cooperation Council is a micronational reginal political and economic union that consists of micronations in the Mediterranean region. One of the founders of the organisation, Aurora. The establishment is similar to the Nordic Assembly and the Arctic Council.

History

This council was proposed by Aurora and six micronations were willing to join after that. A preparatory committee was formed, after which the Marsaskala Declaration was signed on July 12, announcing the establishment of the council. On 5 September 2022, The Kingdom of Ardesoda defuncted. In June 2023, 2 new member states joined MCC. Rhodieland left 1st of June 2024. Currently council exists as an online branch rather than a geographical one. It's actual political effects are miniminal.
