The Kingdom of Ardesoda, more commonly known as Ardesoda, is a micronation founded by King Yassin I. The Kingdom of Ardesoda gained independence from the United Kingdom on the 6th of June 2022.
The Kingdom consists of four counties: El Markaz, Igtema`, Zekrayat, Yonann.
Etymology
The name "Ardesoda" is a romanisation of the Egyptian Arabic name "ارض سودة" (Arde Soda) meaning "Black Land" referring to the fertile land of Ardesoda. It is also heavily inspired by Egypt's original name "Kemet" which also means "black land".
History
Establishment
King Yassin I has always been interested in nations and how they were formed and in 2021 discovered the concept of micronations and was so fascinated by it that he considered creating his own. He introduced the concept to his friends however they doubted its legitimacy and rejected the idea. This and the fact that micronations seemed incredibly difficult and expensive to the king at the time changed his mind and he eventually forget about the idea. However on June 2022, the king became interested in the concept once again and came across MicroWiki which completely changed his view of the concept showed how easy it actually is. He immediately started planning out his first micronation and introduced the wiki to his friend Oliver Rodriguez (Now King Rodriguez I of Great Welland) who became interested in the idea as well. Both continued planning their micronations and officially established the Kingdom of Ardesoda and the Kingdom of Great Welland which both continue to work together to this day.
Declaration of Unity
On the 20th of June 2022, King Yassin I and King Rodriguez I declared the unity of both the Kingdom of Ardesoda and the Kingdom of Great Welland. Both micronations now act as one single micronation.
The Cloudi-Qardashan War
On the 25th of June 2022, King Yassin I was informed by King Cloudi I about the recent attacks by the Sultanate of Qardasha and was told about the plan to fight back. King Yassin I offered to supply Cloudiland with Ardesodan weaponry and King Cloudi I agreed. However, this idea failed due to the high security of Qardasha. King Yassin I suggested that Cloudiland negotiates with Qardasha and try to establish peace. While Cloudi I didn't agree at first, he eventually did. Both joined a group chat with members of Qardasha and after some talks both parties agreed on a ceasefire. This ceasefire was quickly broken however due to Qardasha attempting to nuke Cloudiland and failing to do so. This prompted King Yassin I to launch a new programme called the "Ardesodan Nuclear Programme", or 'ANP' for short, which aimed to create powerful nuclear weapons. The first ever Ardesodan nuke was created on the 26th of June and was named "Dawsha" (romanised Egyptian Arabic meaning Noise) however it was not actually used for the war as the king couldn't think of a way to get it through Qardashan security. The war eventually ended on the 28th of June with the nuking of the main Cloudiland server leaving the Sultanate of Qardasha victorious. The ANP continues to develop nuclear weapons to this day.
Independence
On the 3rd of July 2022, the Kingdom of Ardesoda declared independence from the United Kingdom of Edane, officially dissolving the union.
Politics and government
The Government is ran by the Monarch who rules by blood right. Beneath the Monarch, the Parliament runs the nation and surfaces the laws. These laws are only past with the monarchs permission.
Foreign relations
Kingdom of Great Welland
Both Ardesoda and Welland enjoy warm diplomatic relations and consider each other on very friendly terms. Both kings are still very good friends to this day.
