The United Kingdom of Edane is a micronational union in Peterborough, England. The union consists of the Kingdom of Ardesoda and the Kingdom of Great Welland. The government is a Diarchy with both King Yassin I of Ardesoda and King Rodriguez I of Great Welland ruling it.
Etymology
The word "Edane" is a romanisation of the Egyptian Arabic word "ايدين" meaning "Two hands" referring to the fact that the union is ruled by two monarchs.
History
Declaration of Unity
On the 20th of June 2022, King Yassin I and King Rodriguez I signed the Declaration of Unity uniting both Ardesoda and Great Welland. Both micronations now act as one single micronation.
End of the Union
On the 3rd of July 2022, the Kingdom of Ardesoda declared independence from the union, officially dissolving the United Kingdom of Edane.
