The May 2020 Benjastanian Parliamentary Election was a snap election called by President Ben Olson to fill empty seats after the legislative reforms abolishing the People's National Congress and replacing it with a bicamarel system. This election was held simultaneously with the May 2020 Benjastanian Senatorial Election.
The election resulted in a victory for the Workers' Party of Benjastan, and a crushing defeat for the failing Independent Conservative Party. It also saw the rise of the new Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party of Benjastan now known as the United Right; winning one seat. Shortly after the election, from popular pressure, the President returned to the old Congressional system. Seats were then distributed porportionally to the popular vote in this election.
