List of Micronations by National Transportation Rating

This is a list of micronations by their National Transportation Rating (NTR) created by the Onopolissian Transport Ministry as a way of recognising the strength and reliability of other micronational road networks and public transport systems. Please only add micronations with at least one road and one mode of public transportation in operation, and that are non-fictitious.

Method

The scale is fairly simple. The scale is from one to five, one being the worst class, and five being the best class. PAY ATTENTION TO THE NUMBER OF POINTS YOU WILL RECEIVE FOR WHAT YOU ANSWERED, THEY DO CHANGE THROUGHOUT.The categories, combined with the various scales are as follows:

  • How many metres/kilometres/yards/miles of road does this nation have in total?
    • 1: 50 metres/54 yards or less
    • 2: 200 metres/218 yards or less
    • 3: 500 metres/546 yards or less
    • 4: 1 kilometre/1093 yards or less
    • 5: 1 kilometre/1093 yards or more
  • How much on average is one ticket on public transport in this nation?
    • 1: Ten United States Dollars or more
    • 2: Five United States Dollars or more
    • 3: One United States Dollar or more
    • 4: Less than one United States Dollar
    • 5: Free
  • How many people travel by car in the nation each day?
    • 1: Less than 10% of the nation
    • 3: 10-40% of the nation
    • 5: 40-50% of the nation
    • 3: 50-85% of the nation
    • 1: 85-100% of the nation
  • How many people travel by public transportation in the nation each day?
    • 1: Less than 8% of the nation
    • 2: 8-20% of the nation or 80-100% of the nation
    • 3: 20-40% of the nation
    • 4: 40-60% of the nation
    • 5: 60-80% of the nation
  • How many modes of public transport in the nation are there?
    • 1: One transport mode, one line
    • 2: One transport mode, 1-4 lines
    • 3: Multiple transport modes, each with 1-3 lines
    • 4: Multiple transport modes, each with enough lines to be their own small system
    • 5: Multiple transport modes, all integrated as one 'super network'

Score calculation

Once the score for each question is found, add the scores together, multiply by two and divide by five.

For example: The Example Republic has received 2, 4, 5, 3 and 2. Adding them (2+4+5+3+2=16), then multiplying the answer by two (16x2=32), then dividing that answer by five makes (32÷5=6.4)

As such, The Example Republic would have a score of 6.4.

The scores mean as follows:

  • 2-3.6: A poor effort from this micronation's transportation system. This micronation likely does not pay much attention to its transport system. (Poor)
  • 3.7-5.4: Not the worst system, but still, there is still room for improvement. (Average)
  • 5.5-7.2: Certainly above average in terms of micronational systems, but may have been brought up by a single factor. (Good)
  • 7.2-9.0: This micronation has a system that has been improved with reasonably high standards, and as such serves the nation's citizens well. (Great)
  • 9.1-10.0: This micronation should take pride in its system. With barely any kinks, it has clearly been worked on to provide a great system of transportation that serves the nation well, not asking for much in return for its service. (Outstanding)

List of countries

When adding your country, place it in score order on the list. If there is another micronation with the same score, put your micronation in alphabetical order compared to the other nation. Use the same rank for each nation. For example: the Example Republic would be above the United Exemplars because, despite both being ranked with 6.4, Example comes first in alphabetical order, therefore it's listed first, though both have an equal score. Now let's say that Examplistan is in rank four, with a score of 9.2. Another micronation with 9.2 will need to also be put in rank four. Due to this move, the micronation below (Socialist Republic of Example), will be placed in rank six, because it is the sixth nation on the list.

The 'country' column is where the Micronation's flag and name must be put, the 'score' column is where the score will be put, the 'rating' column is where the word in brackets at the end of each score meaning, and the 'transport map' column is where the micronation's public transportation map will be put (if it has one).
