The Labour Party (Spanish: Partido Laborista) is a democratic socialist political party in Aswington. It was founded in November 15, 2020 by Ben Olson.
History
The Labour Party of Aswington was founded by Ben Olson on November 15, 2020. He created the Labour Party because he was disappointed to see that Aswington did not have any socialist political parties.
Platform
Fiscally, the party advocates for the gradual collectivization of the economy though the nationalization of key industries and policies which would encourage the creation of cooperative businesses. They also support strong social programs and policies to strengthen unions.
Socially, the party is progressive. They fully support the expansion of LGBTQ+ rights and opposes a ban on abortion.
