The Kolniari Free State War, known colloquially as the Free State War is an ongoing conflict revolving around the Kolniaric Free State, specifically the cities of Newshrine and Fórta Líbértha. The war began on 20 February 2023 when ‘The Radicals’ who had previously attacked Pekatan were now attacking the Kolniari Free State.
Timeline
On 20 February 2023, the Kolniari Free State War began after a group known as The Radicals attacked the Republic of Pekatan, destroying some religious relics and important buildings, and stealing the weapons from the Libidine Armoury belonging to Pekatan, Sprinske and the Mafia Republic. Following the fall of Pekatan, the Kolniaric Union moved their base to the Kolniari Free State and began fortifying it from an expected assault. The Kolniari Free State then became the Radicals’ new target.
The Radicals attacked the Free State on a near-daily basis, taking its resources, which they mostly took to New Sài Gòn, Kaltarsia. Most of the resources were eventually found again, but some still remain missing. After the Free State’s capital, Fórta Líbértha, was fortified, the Radicals found it increasingly hard to attack the Free State, and by mid April 2023, their attacks began to slow down. The Radicals surrendered on 16 April 2023, ending the first stage of the Kolniari Free State War.
Stewartist State involvement
In late April 2023, Zachary Stewart, who had previously been removed from power after the Second Kolniaric War, declared the ‘Stewartist State of Gradhsith’ which claimed the territory of the Kolniari Free State and Sprinska. This ‘state’ is not recognised by any other Kolniaric nations, and was officially classified as a terrorist group by some of the Kolniaric nations as the Stewartist State. The Stewartist State involvement in the war began in May 2023, when Zachary Stewart and Anthony Scott attacked the city of Fórta Líbértha. They threw most of the city’s resources over the border to the Berghassa Republic, which would be difficult to retrieve since that particular part of Berghassa existed on the grounds of a primary school. Matteo Catania, President of the Mafia Republic, was able to retrieve the resources and bring them back to the Free State. A few days later, multiple wiki pages relating to the Sprinske Empire and BCMA were vandalised by an account known as User:Болото. This account came from the same IP address as User:Dalrigia, which is ran from Tsar Aaron I’s school iPad. The school’s iPads all have the same IP, meaning that the account belonged to someone from that school. Zachary was accused of it because he was the only one with a clear motive, and the next day, Zachary attacked the Free State again with an army of 5 soldiers, including himself and Anthony. They destroyed all cities in the Free State and broke multiple items belonging to the Free State, including some chairs and pieces of wood that were being used to construct things.
On 14 May 2023, Hokoria had organised a court case to decide whether or not Zachary was guilty or not of harassment of Hokorian officials, as the Tsar of Kaltarsia is the current Chancellor of Hokoria. After an argument however, Aaron I asked for the court case to be cancelled, as he could not be bothered to deal with Zachary on that day, considering it was three years to the day since he lost his auntie.
On 15 May 2023, the leaders of Kaltarsia, the Mafia Republic and Pekatan met in the Free State. At almost 20°C, it was a very warm day by Glaswegian standards, especially in May. Anthony Scott showed up, and an argument between him and Aaron I began. Aaron I stormed out of the Free State angry at Anthony after a few minutes of tension.
