Kichi dollar (Chinese:吉侯） is the current legal tender of the Republic of Kichi. It be issued and circulated from September 6, 2022, a Unfortunately, although the Kichi dollar is a legal tender in name, it still cannot be effectively circulated. Most merchants in Kichi still refuse to accept Kichi dollars.The issuance of the Kichi dollar is handled by the Central Bank of the Republic of Kichi. The basic unit of the Kichi Dollar is Hou. Names

"Hou" is the name of the currency as a whole while "dollar" are the units of account. This is analogous to the distinction between "renminbi" and "yuan" when discussing the official currency of the People's Republic of China.

Current version

On June 19, 2023, the Central Bank of Kichi announced the design of the second edition of Kichi dollar, and called the entire banknote design "Creative Kichi".

On June 19, 2023, the Central Bank of Kichi released the one-kichi dollar coin design. "Kichi" is written in Chinese and English on the front of the coin, and Hou Guoyu D G REX F D (Hou Guoyu, by the grace of God, King, Defender of the Faith.) is written in Latin on the back.
