Galwegian News Network is an online publication founded by Thomas Jacobs, which releases content about Galway City, Galway micronationalism, County Galway, Roscamistan and intermicronational news.

Galwegian News Network has been owned by the Government of Roscamistan since 2023, and serves as official newspaper of the state.

History

In December 2022, Galwegian News Network was founded as a neutral media outlet by Thomas Jacobs, Ludwig Collins and Jan Kotoński, to replace the disbanded Freiheit-Pravda which ceased publication in 2022. After the leaving of the latter founders in early 2023, Jacobs remained as the sole editor of the company, until later that year the Government of Roscamistan nationalised the company.

It has been active since then, serving as official newspaper for the Roscami Federation, keeping true to its roots as a neutral publication.

Format

Galwegian News Network publishes stories on a semi-regular schedule, on politics, current events, elections, life, education, holidays and occasionally sports. Political commentary is kept as unbiased as possible, whilst other news is sometimes biased in its coverage.
