Design

The official flag of Arlandica consists of a white field with two parallel horizontal blue stripes and another parallel horizontal yellow stripe, all in the center. Additionally, there is a five-pointed blue star located in the canton. The field of white symbolizes freedom and independence, while the blue stripes represent unity and prosperity. The yellow stripe signifies the monarchy, and the five-pointed blue star represents the first five provinces of Arlandica: Lémarita, Paddaya, Galrea, Nueva Bago, and the Mainland Arlandica.

Usage

The flag shall be displayed in each province of Arlandica at least once a month. The flag may be flown at half-mast as a sign of mourning. Upon the official announcement of the death of a member of Royal family, relatives or a government officer, the flag must be flown at half-mast for 2 days. To mutilate, deface, defile, trample on or cast contempt or commit any act or omission casting dishonor or ridicule upon the flag or over its surface are considered as a crime.

The naval ensign, also referred to as the Alternative flag of Arlandica, is a variant of the national flag[a] which is used by the vessels and ships to denote their Arlandican nationality. However, as of April 2023, the Arlandican government does not have any vessels at the sea. It is a separate version of the flag that has been used in the province of Lémarita.

Usage of Provincial flags

The Arlandican provinces also has their own flags. According to the monarch, the provincial flags should be displayed alongside or below the Arlandican national flag. The flag could also be used in ceremonial and symbolic activities in their province when necessary.
