Firburgian is a West Slavic language, which is the second official language of the Duchy of Firburg, along with Czech. The rules are currently being finalized to allow the language to be used for official documents.
History
The origins of the Firburgian alphabet date back to April and May 2020. Around the turn of May and June 2020, the Firburgian alphabet was created, it looked almost the same as the current one, but it contained "Ř" and did not contain "Ć", "Ś" and "Fč", the latter appearing relatively shortly after the alphabet was created. The first word species to appear were numerals. Already at that time, a system of basic numerals, or digits 1 to 9, was established, which are necessary for the formation of higher numerals, which is still in use today with slight modifications. In the following months, rules and words for nouns and verbs began to emerge, and after about a year (summer 2021) the rules were finalized. At that time, a certain South Slavic, specifically Croatian-Slovenian, influence began to manifest itself in the Firburgian. More "lj" can be observed in words from this period and new letters appeared: "ć" and "ś". However, these are not pronounced as the original variants, lj is read as in Czech, "ć" and "ś" are read as "long č" and "long š". At the beginning of 2022, the dual appeared in Firburg, so Firburg uses the dual unlike most Slavic languages that have dropped/abandoned it.
