The February Revolution (Malay: Revolusi Februari) was a period of radical political and societal change in Subejia that began with the Subejian Civil War and ended with the formation of the Presidency of Subejia in February 2021. The revolution also known for the independence of the Democratic Republic of Subejia.
Causes
Subejian Civil War
The Democratic Kingdom of Subejia has been abolished on 28 February 2021 after the agreement between the President of Subejia and the Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Subejia. As a result, the Democratic Kingdom loss in the civil war.
Conflicts between Tan Sri Kennedy and Azwariq
Tan Sri Kennedy, the last Prime Minister of Subejia, having a conflict with Azwariq before the Democratic Republic of Subejia declared independence. Tan Sri Kennedy also nominated as President and won but then he resigned because he think carefully that he cannot becomes the President.
First Democratic Kingdom (2020–2021)
The Democratic Kingdom of Subejia was formed on 18 March 2021. It became successor to its predecessor, Kingdom of Subejo and Federation of Subejo. On 2020, there's many conflict that happened such as Subejian Civil War. It was dissolved during the February Revolution.
First Republic (2020–2021)
The Republic of Subejia was proposed to be declared independence from the Democratic Kingdom but then the Republic of Subejia was dissolved due to February Revolution. This leads to formation and independence of the Democratic Republic of Subejia.
First Democratic Republic (2021–present)
The Democratic Republic of Subejia has been formed during the February Revolution. Originally, the formation wanted to be established earlier on February but has been delayed on 28 February 2021. The Democratic Republic was also attempted to be dissolved but been cancelled.
De facto monarch in the Democratic Republic
Elizabeth II was de facto monarch in Subejia. Mohd Salleh is also de facto monarch before the declaration of independence of the Democratic Republic of Subejia. Some monarch in Subejia was abolished due to King Act.
2021 presidential election
The general election was originally held on 24 May 2021 but Tan Sri Kennedy did not appointed. Until 20 June 2021, the general election was held again. Albeit, Azwariq won the uncontested election because only two people are voting in.
