History
Cohors I Esmonda was founded as the 1st Royton Regiment on 23 May 2009. As the only regiment in the only division, at the time of its foundation the regiment comprised the entirety of the Austenasian Army, and fought in the Skirmish of the Treasury. On 6 September 2009, the 1st Royton Regiment built a temporary base on Carshalton Park, and during the Austenasian Civil War, part of the 1st Royton Regiment saw combat during the Battle of the Grove. Later that year, part of the Regiment again saw combat during the War of the Orlian Reunification in the Battle of Orly.
On 13 January 2011, as part of wide reforms to the Austenasian Army, the Regiment was renamed Cohors I Esmonda. It was dissolved along with the Austenasian Army as a whole on 17 June 2020.
