History
Legio I Britannica was founded as the 1st Inner Austenasia Division on 23 May 2009. At the time of its foundation, the division comprised the entirety of the Austenasian Army and fought in the Skirmish of the Treasury. With the outbreak of the Austenasian Civil War, another division was founded; part of the 1st Inner Austenasia Division saw combat during the Battle of the Grove, and then later that year during the War of the Orlian Reunification in the Battle of Orly.
On 13 January 2011, as part of wide reforms to the Austenasian Army, the Division was renamed Legio I Britannica. On 8 August, the legion was mobilised to defend Wrythe and Zephyria from the riots in London, and remained so for nearly a month before being demobilised on 5 September 2011. Although it saw no actual combat, soldiers protected the Empire while many of its residents were away on holiday having left properties defenceless, performing a vital role in assuaging the fears of the holidaymakers. It was dissolved along with the Austenasian Army as a whole on 17 June 2020.
