The Caudonian red scare was a period of hightened paranoia of a socialist takeover in the Principality of Caudonia. It caused flame wars and the shifting of the centre right towards the far-right.
As a consequence of the conflict, the Commonwealth of Daragonia was founded by dissilusioned left-wingers as a republican alternative to Caudonia. The wording of Daragonia's exit from Caudonia as a secession led to a constitutional crisis.
The conflict resulted in the Salisbury agreement.
