Case 23001 triggered a political earthquake in October following the Hamas attacks on Israel.For context: The long-distance citizen and member of the left wing Lasetian Red Star Hunt P. had openly shown his support for the Hamas and thus approved the brutal attacks. The case started after the Emperor of Salanda had reported a screenshot of Hunt P. posting a picture of Palestine flag and then writing hamas with many hearts.
The legal situation is that §5 foreign laws says “Supporting and condoning the terrorist organization is strictly prohibited and is considered tantamount to national treason and can result in revocation of citizenship. In the respective countries where citizens of Lasetien are allowed to stay, they are not allowed to support the condemned organization.”
The LRS lost most of their popularity since September
In the case Hunt P. did not want to defend himself. After that court case, another member of LRS left Lasetia. A.H Marhaen had been discontent with this situation, and left Lasetia and quitted his leadership of LRS and the Ministry of Foreign Relations (Lasetia). LRS had lost 75 percent of its supporters after this court case
