The Ministry of Defense, War and Propaganda is the most important Ministry in the State of Lasetia and has the highest budget of all governmental agencies. It is responsible for recruiting soldiers, structure the National Army and to have a good weapon production and imports. The ministry was created by the President, Maximilian IB. 11 March 2023 as the first ministry. The Ministry is ruling over the Lasetian National Army and is responsible for defending Lasetia.

Role and Tasks

The Ministry of Defense, War and Propaganda has many huge tasks which are defined by the President. The main task is to secure tha national safety by having a strong and impulsive army. For this the ministry is responsible for a own weapon industry, weapon imports from recognized states as Germany, recruiting new soldiers and reservists by advertising joining the army and in coorparation with the Ministry of Finances and Economy promising less taxes and financial bonus for members of the Lasetian National Army. It is also required to have a good structure of the army to react fast and impulsive if something happens, so there are several Battalions needed to structure.

Eligibility

The Post of the Ministry of Defense, War and Propaganda has the highest status of all Ministries and the Minister can besides the President order over the Lasetian National Army. If the Notstandserklärung des Ministeriums or Ministerial Emergency Decree is declared, the Ministry is de jure ruling about the Army and can order attacks to save the State of Lasetia, its government, citizens and economy. For becoming a minister it is required to be above the age of 13 and having political and militarical experience and has to be approved by the National Council and the President. This means that a Minister is suggested by the National Council after Elections and must be permitted by the President to become a Minister. The Ministry has to be lead with full seriousness, because he is responsible for the national security. If the impression is bad, a voting of no confidence is required. The President has more rights than the Ministry of Defense, War and Propaganda and his orders have more value than the from the ministry. But this is preserved for the Emergency Case, which is usually called out by the President and can disempower the National Council and the Minister and Ministries. But the Ministry of Defense,War and Propaganda is always on exchange with the Government of Lasetia (The President and the Ministries) and the Intelligence Service of Lasetia.
