The CDG Alliance and the subsequent November Foreign Policy were a series of acts of foreign relations under taken by the Arstotzkan Federal Government and First President Ethan Brinkman in an effort to prevent a war between the Arstotzkan Union and the former Confederate Democracy of Gamers.
Ultimately these attempts were highly unsuccessful and on 26 November 2020, the Arstotzkan Union declared war on the CDG, ending all relations forever.
CDG Alliance
The CDG Alliance was a foreign relation policy established by the Arstotzkan Union in an effort to both recognize the newly formed nation and prevent hostilities between the nations. The alliance was drafted and sent on November 10th 2020 to Elijah Tibbits (de-facto President). The Alliance stated
"The Confederate Republic of Gamers (later named CDG) shall be recognised as a foreign state and we request an alliance with your nation.
We shall provide to you the benefits of a foreign ally and you shall have the full support of the Arstotzkan Union National Defense Forces if the event arises that your nation shall need the support.
If you are not wanting an alliance we shall see your nation as a foreign aggressor and under our Constitution and Legislation you may be invaded."
This alliance was broken on November 26th, when the Arstotzkan Union ceased all relations with the CDG and began the Arstotzkan - Confederate War.
November Foreign Policy
One of the more infamous pieces of documentation that began the Arstotzkan - Confederate War was the November Foreign Policy (or known as the Foreign Policy for the Independent Federal Republic of the Arstotzkan Union, November 10, 2020). The foreign policy outlines the actions of both the Arstotzkan Union and CDG in relations. The document also details the actions that can be undertaken by the foreign ambassador to both nations and the Arstotzkan Federal Guard.
The most infamous line from the November Foreign Policy is "A fragile state of peace shall reign between the two nations." Which is remembered in hindsight as a very true statement.
