2022 National Constitutional Convention of the Arstotzkan Union

The 2022 National Constitutional Convention of the Arstotzkan Union was a joint meeting of the Executive, Judicial, Legislative, State and Territorial branches of the Arstotzkan Federal Government to ratify the draft of the Constitution of the Arstotzkan Union and to make any future amendments to the document be classed as Amendments rather than Articles.

The meeting took place on 25 November 2022 which is the third anniversary of the creation of the Constitution of the Arstotzkan Union and the end of the First Civil Conflict of the Arstotzkan Wars.

History

In early January 2022 it was decided to hold a national convention to ratify the Constitution which had never been fully ratified into Arstotzkan Law. On 31 March 2022 the date was chosen to be 25 November 2022, the third anniversary of the commencement of drafting of the current Constitution.

On 27 June 2022, the four representatives of the branches of the Arstotzkan Federal Government were chosen.

On 24 November 2022, General Samantha Johnson commander of the Arstotzkan Army Corps was selected to be an outside signatory at the appointment of the First President.
