The State Governor of the Arstotzkan Union Proper was the government representative of the state of the Arstotzkan Union Proper. The office was created from the office of the Prime Minister of Arstotzka and the State Governor of Sostoyaniye. The State Governor was a member of the Government of the State and Territories and unlike the Chairman Supreme, had little control and functioned mainly on the advise of the Arstotzkan Federal Government, rather than the Territorial Congress.

History

The office of State Governor was created by then Prime Minister Ethan Brinkman as the title of Prime Minister did not fit the role and changed it to State Governor. In 2022 the responsibility over the state began to diminish. The Council Registration which was the body that the State Governor controlled and was the sole legislative assembly of the State Governor began to become more disorganized. With the formation of the Government of the Union, the State Governors voice became even smaller.

Tyler Brazier who had served as State Governor since Ethan Brinkman was promoted back to the Office of the Presidency on 1 June 2021 became the last State Governor and ran the office until its dissolution on 31 December 2022 although the official dissolution did not occur until the passing of the Land and Territories Act 2023 on 11 January 2023.
