Vadaska Republic is a micronation which gained semi-independence after the Vadaska Independence War in December 2012. Between 2012 and 2013 it had 27 citizens with 24 out of the 27 are Muslim Bosniaks and the other 3 are Christian Croats but many left because they began to support Bosnia.
History
1st Vadaskan Republic
Vadaska declared a war of independence from Bosnia-Herzogovia on the 2nd of December 2012. Fighting started near founder and president Ivan Milovan's house. They managed to take two football fields, a set of houses and the founder's house. Živko Izet (the former leader of the dissolved Communist Party) started the rebellious Jerket SR and got 6 citizens off Vadaska making them from 33 citizens to 27. The war went on until 2013 (however it officially ended in 2016) and they also had many border clashes with Bosnian nationalists during that time. Vadaska also intervened in Narentian civil war with "Operation Freedom", which helped bring peace to the country. During 1st Vadaska Republic, president was Ivan Milovan and prime minister was Tomislav Sava.
2nd Vadaskan Republic
On 8 October 2016, Ivan Milovan restarted the Vadaska Republic after years of inactivity after hearing news about the Principality of Aikavia, the successor to the former ally Narentian Federation. He made deal with communists giving them an autonomous republic known as Autonomna Republika Jerket, but made deal that they would not be communist even though they kept communist flag. Although Ivan speaks with many of Vadaska's old citizens but they have lost interest and so Ivan has decided to run it as a single-citizen country, Ivan also returned Football Fields to Bosnia after Bosnian nationalists took back the area. Ivan is currently looking for someone to take Vadaska over from him because he is now inactive.
Politics and government
Because of the recent inactivity, Vadaska is unofficially a dictatorship. There are no political parties, as there were in 1st republic (excluding Communist Party), and the president is an independent.
Foreign relations
Vadaska government manages foreign affairs of Vadaska and Jerket. Vadaska currently has no contact with other nations. During 1st Republic (2012-2015), Vadaska recognized only the independence of Bosnia-Herzegovina and the Novigrad government of Narentia and was only recognized by Novigrad government of Narentia and Mangdublah.
