Special Tactics Service (Wellmoore)
The Special Tactics Service (STS) is a special forces unit of the Wellmoorean Army. The STS was founded as a Corps on the 5th of October 2021. The unit specialises in a number of roles including counter-terrorism, direct action and covert reconnaissance. Much of the info about the STS is highly classified and the corps is not commented on by anyone in HM's Government of Wellmoore, including the Ministry of Defence, or members of the Wellmoorean Army due to the secrecy of its operations.

History
The STS was founded on the 5th of October 2021 by King Luke of Wellmoore, originally as the Special Operations Unit (SOU) but the name was changed.
Organisation
Commanding Officers
While in service the Commanding Officer of the STS is only known to those within the Wellmoorean Army.
Recruitment and Training
The Wellmoorean Special Forces do not recruit from the general public. All members of the Armed Forces of Wellmoore are welcome to apply for Special Forces Selection. Selection is held twice a year.
Selection
Phase 1
Candidates are required to complete a Personal Fitness Test (PFT) upon arrival at selection the PFT consists of 50 sit-ups in 2 and a half minutes and 60 press ups in 3 minutes followed by a 1.5 mile run in 10 minutes and 30 seconds. Then Candidates complete an Annual Fitness Test (AFT) which consists of an 8 mile march in 3 and a half hours while carrying kit. Candidates then also attempt a cross-country march.
Phase 2
Candidates are taught navigation, patrol formation and movement and jungle survival skills. Candidates are also taught survival exercises and end this faze in a week long escape and evasion training.
Phase 3
The final phase of selection is Resistance to Interrogation.
