The Security Council of the Frondesian Federation (SCFF), sometimes known as the Security Council of Frondesia, is a consultative body of the President of Frondesia that supports the president's decision-making on national security affairs and matters of strategic interest. Composed of Frondesia's top state officials and heads of defence and security agencies and chaired by the Frondesian president, the SCFF acts as a forum for coordinating and integrating national security policy.
History
The SCFF was founded on 28 August 2023 by Presidential Decree 3, which concerns the establishment of the body and its operations. The decree was issued by President Oswald Hastings in a bid to develop national security services and to help productively shape federal defence policy.
Role
The legal status of the SCFF is as a consultative body concerned with elaboration of decisions by the president in the fields of Frondesia's defence and national security.
The SCFF comprises its chairman (the President of Frondesia), the Secretary of the SCFF, its full members, and members, as appointed by the president. The Secretary of the SCFF is appointed by the president and reports directly to him.
Decisions of the SCFF are adopted by its full members and approved by the president, who may issue decrees or orders for the purpose of implementing them throughout Frondesia.
