The Republic of Aweland, more commonly known as Aweland, was a micronation with territories in West Yorkshire, East Yorkshire, County Galway, and Florida. It was a hereditary monarchy, where the Head of State was selected by the previous Head of State, as stated in the Order of the Founder. The four claims of Aweland were known as the Territories of the Republic of Aweland[1]. The official languages of the Republic of Aweland were English (UK) and French.
Aweland was founded in early April 2022 by Willow Cizdeizd I[2] as an absolute monarchy. This changed to a constitutional monarchy upon the creation of the Aweish Values, and the formation of the Aweland Central Government (in late April 2022) and the formation of the Aweland Local Governments (in early September 2022). The concept of the Republic of Aweland originated from early 2017.
Government
The Republic of Aweland had two governments, the Aweland Central Government and the Aweland Local Governments.
Aweland Central Government
The Aweland Central Government consists of 8 branches and 5 sub-branches. The government was overseen by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Aweland, who was elected through AwelandVotes and appointed by the acting Head of State of the Republic of Aweland.
Each branch of the Aweland Central Government was managed by a Government Branch Officer (GBO). GBOs were appointed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Aweland.
Aweland Local Governments
The there were 4 offices that make up the Aweland Local Governments of Aweland City, South Beach City, Moycullen City and Hollywood City.
Each office/local government was overseen by a Territorial Commander, who was appointed by the acting Head of State of the Republic of Aweland.
History
The Republic of Aweland was founded in early April 2022[2], by Willow Cizdeizd I[3]. Shortly after, Willow Cizdeizd I designed and officialised the Flag of the Republic of Aweland. Soon after in late April 2022, the Aweland Central Government was formed. Mr Harry J. Jordan was appointed as the Prime Minister of the Republic of Aweland, Mr Jack Porter-Lindsey was appointed as the Government Branch Officer for Security & Defence, Mx Josh Carter was appointed as Government Branch Officer for Health, and Mx Sarah Lock was appointed as Government Branch Officer for Justice & Enforcement.
Anarchist Order
In July 2022, the acting Prime Minister made an attempt to overthrow the Willow Cizdeizd I from their role as Head of State, upon his possession of the Book of Aweland, a book which must be in possession of the acting Head of State according to the now archived Bookholder's Act of 2022. Mr Harry J. Jordan used the privileges that came with the possession of the Book of Aweland to declare Aweland an anarchy state, and subsequently renamed the Republic of Aweland to 'The Anarchist State of Aweland'. The book was returned to Willow Dziedzic I after 1 day in the possession of Mr Harry J. Jordan, after Willow Dziedzic I signed and created the 'Anarchist Order' which reverted the Republic of Aweland to it's previous state. Mr Harry J. Jordan later resigned from his position as Prime Minister in August 2022.
United Kingdom - Aweland War
On the 1st August 2022, Willow Cizdeizd I announced that under their order, the Republic of Aweland was officially at war with the United Kingdom. This action came after the acting Head of State disagreed with the United Kingdom's law and attitude towards LGBTQ+ people. There have been no incidents between the Republic of Aweland and the United Kingdom. The acting Head of State, Willow Cizdeizd I had expressed a desire to end the war. Willow Cizdeizd I had since expressed a desire to end the war, however is unable to as a result to the Republic of Aweland's law and legislation.[2]
The BalCasMed Alliance
On 11 September 2022, the acting Head of State Willow Cizdeizd I entered the Republic of Aweland as a member state of the BalCasMed Alliance.
In the BalCasMed Alliance, the Republic of Aweland hosts the Court of the Sea. Willow Cizdeizd I wrote the alliance's Treaty of the Sea and had a prominent role in the alliance.
Bog Soma - Aweland Conflict
On 28 September 2022, the Republic of Aweland faced an attack on it's Discord community by a user. After being banned by a server moderator this user contacted the acting Head of State of the Republic of Aweland to declare war for this. The user identified themselves as the leader of the United Provinces of Bog Soma. Initially, the Aweland Central Government released a statement branding the declaration as "purely childish".
On 1 October 2022, the leader of the United Provinces of Bog Soma signed the 'Treaty of the UPoBS', which promised that the United Provinces of Bog Soma would end the conflict and cease any attacks against the Republic of Aweland. The Republic of Aweland promised the same in return. On 3 October 2022, the United Provinces of Bog Soma launched another attack on the Republic of Aweland's Discord community. The Republic of Aweland formally withdrew itself from the 'Treaty of the UPoBS' as a result of this.
The United Provinces of Bog Soma had since launches multiple attacks against the Republic of Aweland and it's allies in the BalCasMed Alliance.
Curtin Government
On 15 November 2022, the acting Head of State of the Republic of Aweland announced that Prime Minister Elect Mr Jay Curtin TC would be appointed as Prime Minister of the Republic of Aweland earlier than scheduled.
Mr Curtin was due to be appointed at the Prime Ministerial Inarguation on 28 December 2022. In a statement, Willow Cizdeizd I told citizens that the change was "due to developments regarding the state of Europe".
At 22:31 Aweland City Time (UTC+0), the Prime Minister of the Republic of Aweland announced their government.

Mr Curtin resigned from his role as the Prime Minister of the Republic of Aweland on 27 November 2022, due to pressures of education and other personal matters. He was the second Prime Minister to resign.
Sprinske-Union Of The Free Tensions
On 23 November 2022, tensions between the Sprinske Empire and the Union Of The Free reached an all-time high as the leader of the Sprinske Empire was accused of spying on the Prime Minister of the Union Of The Free.
As part of Aweland's 'Waterfall Procedures', a de-escalation operation was orchestrated by the Office of the Head of State. With co-operation from the leaders of the Sprinske Empire and the Union Of The Free, war was avoided and all parties signed 'The Hope Agreement'.
Sol Government
On 27 November 2022, Miss Diana Sol assumed the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Aweland. She became the Republic of Aweland's third Prime Minister, succeeding Mr Curtin from her previous role as Deputy Prime Minister in the Curtin Government. The Sol Government was formed on 29 November 2022.

Disolvation of Aweland
On 16 December 2022, the Republic of Aweland was disolved by the acting Head of State, Willow Cizdeizd I. The County Galway territory of Aweland called Moycullen City, was permitted to be annexed by the East Galwegian Socialist Republic.
Culture
The Aweish Values
The Aweish Values were a set of 6 values that the Aweland Central Government stands for and encourages between it's citizens. They were created by Willow Cizdeizd I in April 2022. The values include love, expression, acceptance, environment, community, and peace.[4]
LGBTQ+
The Republic of Aweland had shown it's support for LGBTQ+ people. Willow Cizdeizd I originally founded Aweland as a safe space for LGBTQ+ people.

Aweland City
Aweland City, formally known as the Republic of Aweland's Territory of Aweland City, was the capital of the Aweland.
Located in West Yorkshire, the area was the first territorial claim and home to Aweland National Park.
The Territorial Commander for Aweland City was Willow Cizdeizd I.
South Beach City
South Beach City, formally known as the Republic of Aweland's Territory of South Beach City, was the second territorial claim of the Republic of Aweland. It was located in East Yorkshire.
The Territorial Commander for South Beach City was Mr Zachary Stewart (TC).
Moycullen City
Moycullen City, also known as the Republic of Aweland's Territory of Moycullen City, was the fourth territorial claim of the Republic of Aweland. Aweland's most recent claim was located in County Galway.
The Territorial Commander for the Moycullen City territory was Mr Tom Fitzpatrick (TC).
Hollywood City
Hollywood City, also known as the Republic of Aweland's Territory of Hollywood City, was the third territorial claim of the Republic of Aweland. It was located within Florida.
The Territorial Commander for the Hollywood City territory was Mr Christopher Strimbu (TC).
