The Presidium of the SFR Nemkhavia is the collective Head of State and highest political authority in the Socialist Federal Republic of Nemkhavia. It is made up of the three Presidents of the constituent Socialist Republics. From their number, they elect the President of the Presidium, who is the overall Head of State of the SFR.
Powers and duties
The Presidium are seen as the highest authority in the nation on many issues. In terms of the Nemkhav way of life, the Presidium assume the position of the cultural leaders of the Nemkhavs. They are generally people who are familiar with the history of the Nemkhavs and are generally able to offer advice on many cultural issues.
In terms of political duties, the Presidium are seen as the highest representatives of the nation, being the group with the power to sign international treaties. They can also propose motions to the Federal Assembly, and must sign off on new laws before they can come into effect, with three signatures.
The President of the Presidium is the spokesperson elected by the other two members to speak for the group, and is the highest ranked political position in the nation.
