The President of the National Congress is the chairman of the National Congress, the federal legislature of Roscamistan. The President is elected by the deputies of Congress after nomination.
Joseph Trick is the incumbent, having served since his unanimous election by the deputies of Congress. The Congress President is second in the line to succeed the President of the Federation, after the Vice President.
History
The office was established on the 28th of June 2023, alongside the National Congress. Replacing the offices of Senate and Chamber Presidents, the Congress President was made second in line to the Presidency.
After the August elections, the first National Congress was formed soon after. Upon nomination of Thomas Jacobs, Joseph Trick of Tolerantia Internationale was elected unanimously by the deputies of Congress on the 3rd of September.
