The National Republic of O'Duighan is a nation that was established on Ede 65, 1901. It claims to be a sovereign state, but is not recognized as such by the wider international community. It is a Fascist State governed by Harold Duighan and the National Moralist Party of O'Duighan.
History
The history of O'Duighan begins on Ede 10, 1899, with the founding of the Holy Empire of Jesus, which was created in a Minecraft server. The empire was declared by Harold Duighan and his friend who was given the title of Brett I, Holy Emperor. Harold eventually discovered a village in the woods on Ede 10, 1899, which he claimed for the empire, and made it a colony, which he administered as Colonial Governor. This would not last long, however, as the village was raided numerous, and he eventually abdicated and disestablished the colony on Ede 18, 1899.
The next day, he set up a new server and proclaimed the Great Empire of Duighan, with himself as the Great Emperor. Brett I would eventually join the server the same day and form an alliance with him known as the Great Coalition. The Empire would expand greatly throughout it's history and have many colonies until it was dissolved by Harold on Ede 37, 1900, after he got bored of being an Emperor, and decided to creat a Federal Republic known as the Great States of O'Duighan, which he regards as his greatest achievement in micronationalism.
On Ede 37, 1900, Harold proclaimed the new nation. Brett was fully supportive of it, but they began to realize that things were getting boring. So they declared a new enemy that they were going to fight, known as the Imperialists. They said the Imperialists were secessionist monarchist fascists who wanted to oppress poor people, and so they declared war on them. The Imperialists formed the Imperialist Government, which was ruled by a man named Francisco El Duardo Kruschev. This led to a massive series of wars known as the Empire Wars, (Ede 37, 1900 - Basemen 41, 1900) which lasted for the majority of the nation's history. The war was split into two wars, the First Empire War, (Ede 37, 1900 - Ede 46, 1900) and the Second Empire War, (Ede 49, 1900 - Basemen 41, 1900). The wars were a major part of O'Duighan's early history, and laided the groundwork for future events. However, the war technically ended after the Imperialists surrendered at the Battle of Reichbunker on Basemen 3, 1900, however, numerous skirmishes against the Imperialists continued until the war officially ended on Basemen 41, 1900.
Afterwards, the Holy Empire of Jesus was disestablished on Basemen 42, 1900, after Harold, who had assumed the role as Holy Emperor only 3 days earlier after Brett abdicated, dissolved the empire. Harold would then step down as leader of the Great States of O'Duighan and dissolved the nation the same day. Later, Harold proclaimed a new nation, the National State of Deegranto, which was a Fascist State. Harold had been drifting towards Fascism since 2019, but it didn't really become evident until he had self-titled himself as Il Duce during the last days of his reign over O'Duighan before it was dissolved. He had proclaimed Deegranto on a game called Politics and War after he was looking for a new place to make his nation after Brett moved away and stopped playing Minecraft with him. He then joined an alliance called Camelot, and found a small group of friends. However, this led him down a rabbit hole where he discovered the alliance higher-ups were essentially blackmailing people into staying in the alliance, which then led to him and his friends forming an underground resistance called the Polish Resistance which attempted to coup the alliance.
However, the coup failed, and Harold fled Camelot, and formed a new nation, called the the Free State of Deeglandia, which was also a Fascist State. Not much happened with that nation, and eventually it was dissolved on Sheddan 53, 1900. It was reformed into the People's Independent State of Freedonia on the same day. This nation was also Fascist State. The government and nation would be renamed and changed numerous times through it's history. The government was eventually couped on Frede 6, 1900 by Monarchists. This coup failed, but it led to a monarchy rising in the Fascist State. However, the monarchy was dissolved later on, which led to the Fascist State collapsing. In recent history, the Great States of O'Duighan reformed, but then dissolved, and became a provisional government, and now, once again, the nation is Fascist.
Establishment of the Christian Theocracy
On 1/24/2021, Harold Duighan proclaimed O'Duighan as a Theocratic Fascist State with the ratification of the Duighan Holy Laws, which proclaimed God as the official monarch of the nation, and declared the Ten Commandments as official government law.
Government
The government is run as a Fascist State by Harold Duighan and his party, the National Moralist Party. The nation's official ideology is National Moralism, a Fascist ideology created by Harold Duighan, that builds upon his old ideology Social Moralism, which is a more progressive, moderately conservative version of National Moralism. The country has 3 branches of government, the State President, who is the leader of the nation, the State Council, which consists of 4 elected members who serve as advisors to the State President and whilst also administering the internal workings of the country such as the economy, and the State Tribunal, which consists of 3 judges who are appointed by the State President himself, and are there to trial criminals who are convicted of committing wrongdoings, such as stealing or murder.
