The May 2022 Mervustan gubernatorial election was the first election for the office of Governor of Mervustan since the passing of the Lieutenant Governors Act 2022. The incumbent, Doros Patusky was retiring, and Matthew Tonna was running for a first term as Governor, with his opponent, Esty Carpentieri running for the ProDems. After an unsuccessful first round, a second round was held immediately after, and Esty Carpentieri won on the second round.
