Mahmoud bin Umar (Arabic:محمود بن عمر) is a Muslim micronationalist, diplomat, legislator, researcher and author. He is a citizen of Australia, the Grand Sultanate of Qardasha, and the Emirate of Dunjakistan. He has two associates diploma in Imperial Law and Diplomacy from the Imperal University of Lehmark.
Micronational career
Exrio
Around 2010 to 2012, Mahmoud expressed desire to found a nation by the name of Exrio. On 10 October 2015, an Exrian republic government was officially established by Mahmoud. On 9 June 2022, Mahmoud re-established his nation as a Sultanate, declaring himself the Sultan. However, some months after, Mahmoud would relinquish his position without any successor government.
Qardasha
Mahmoud enlisted for the military and became a Qardaishan Alp on 9 May 2022 by decision of Aziz Pasha. On 26 May 2022, Mahmoud became a Chatu Vizier for the Vizierate, the legislature of the Grand Sultanate of Qardasha. Mahmoud's legislations from his work in the Republic of Zarkyiv are also used in Qardasha and in court proceedings. On 9 June 2022, Mahmoud was involved in Qardasha's first lawsuit, representing the defendant, winning by dismissal of the case by the order of the judge. On 11 June 2022, Mahmoud was enlisted by Steve into a military elite legion of troops called Akritoi as a defensive member of Qardasha. On 15 June 2022, Mahmoud was awarded the Qardashian Medal of Honor by Orzan, Sultan, and Nafiz, Sword of Orzan, as an acknowledgement for his work in the Akritoi in defending against an individual convicted of blasphemy and provocation. On 28 June, Mahmoud was promoted from Chatu Vizier to Vizier replacing a former member, and later on be given the honorific title Bow of Orzan. Though, after having taken a break from micronationalism, Mahmoud no longer holds these titles and positions.
Zarkyiv
In 2022, Mahmoud became a Senior Minister and member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Zarkyiv. As part of his work, he is a legislator and has written the following bills for the legislature: the Impartial Law Enforcement (26 May 2022), Misinformation (27 May 2022), Data Storage and Protection (27 May 2022), Civil Legislative Contribution Act (26 May 2022) and Self Defence (28 May 2022) acts.
Lehmark
On 1 August 2022, Mahmoud became the Minister of the Imperial Pronconsuls of Lehmark before his role was renamed to the Premier of the Provinces on 25 August 2022.
