List of states in the TDC Empire

This list of states in the TDC Empire includes any current territory of the TDC Empire that is not a colonial holding. TDC has a complex system of states, while enjoying a unique form of territorial authority that granted them many attributes of sovereignty, they are never fully sovereign states in the sense that term is understood today. TDC consists of twenty-seven states, each with its constituent monarch and internal unit, of which two are free imperial cities, three are kingdoms, three are grand duchies, seven are duchies, three are principalities, and three imperial counties. Imperial counties and imperial free cities are unique in that they are granted imperial immediacy, meaning they are not under a local lord and are instead placed directly under the authority of the Kaiser, but this removes their ability to have a seat in the parliament.
