The Parliament of the TDC Empire is the supreme legislative body of the TDC Empire. It meets at the Governmental sector of the Imperial Capital District of Bresdin. While the Parliament is bicameral, consisting of the House of Nobles and the House of Politics, there is a third part, which is the sovereign. This is due to the Kaiser needing to grant royal assent to a bill to make it a law[1]; these primary acts of legislation are known as acts of parliament.
The House of Nobles is the lower chamber of Parliament, with a single representative from each Grand Duchy, Duchy and Kingdom.
The House of Politics is the upper chamber of Parliamment. The House of Politics is made up of 3 appointed ministers or nobles that the Kaiser appoints. [2]
History
The Parliament of the TDC Empire was created via the TDC Constitution on the 10th of June, 2023, which was written by Jason I. Prior to this all laws in TDC were passed by a de facto council that is now the House of Nobles.
