The Duchy of Askia, more commonly known as Askia was a Duchy within the TDC Empire. Askia was orginially founded as a province of the TDC Empire on September 22nd 2022. The current Duke of Askia is Ryan K.
Etymology
The name Askia has no real origins and was a named picked by the current Duke the day of it's creation.
History
Formation
The formation of Askia was, on Spetember 22nd 2022. During this time it was a province of the former TDC Union. The province was created due to the current dukes place within the Potato Republic being abolished as it joined with TDC to form the TDC Union.

The Duke of Askia played an important part within the war, as he supplied the secessionists with men to help them gain independence. The Duke did this because both Hamardistan and Askia are the only majority Muslim Duchies within the Empire.
