The Autonomous Duchy of Hamardistan, more commonly known as Hamardistan was an Autonomous Duchy within the TDC Empire. Hamardistan was originally founded as a colony of the TDC Union on September 15th 2022. The current Duke of Hamardistan is Hamard W. The Duchy was granted its level of autonomy on the 7th of July.
Etymology
The name Hamardistan comes from Duke Hamard's name.
History
Formation
The earliest formation of Hamardistan was at least on the 15th of September 2022, when the province of Hamardistan was mentioned in a province wide referendum.
Creation of the Duchy
Some time during the change from provinces to individual states Hamardistan because a duchy with Hamard being granted the title Duke of Hamardistan.

A few weeks prior to the war racial tensions were rising within TDC which lead to minor conflict. The high Muslim populations of Hamardistan tried to gain their independence amid the conflict, seeing it fit due to the high amounts of religious tension to try and seize the moment and declare a new nations built on the principles of Islam.
